I was reading an article the other day about slicing your golf shot. The article talks about how an incorrect swing and using your arms and body in the wrong manner will produce sliced shots.

The golf swing does look as if it uses a lot of arm motion when in fact your arms should have very little to do with your golf swing.

This article is right on. Have you ever found that after a few holes on the golf course that and you have been slicing the ball, that your arms starting getting very tired? I can remember having that problem before. When you are swinging the golf club incorrectly you will find that your arms are doing all the work. This is due to the fact that you are using your arms way too much to generate your swing and that you are not using your body properly. Your arms should not be used in your downturn swing.

The article states “To guide your club towards the ball you really need to use your body. Your legs and hips should be moving towards the ball and then turning forwards. This way your club is always in a straight line and your body has been the one doing all the work.
